Inspired by the boldness and spontaneity of street art, I've depicted a gathering of seagulls in a light-hearted manner—they stand together, looking at each other and the viewer. Street art is often an expression of place, culture and community. It speaks to the world around the artist and place in which it appears.
Living by the coast has a large influence on my work. The constant presence of seagulls, usually dismissed as mundane, inspired me to explore their quiet moments of introspection. Through this artwork, I aim to convey the sense of community and curiosity among these coastal inhabitants and the viewer.
